with the following images I have drawn out a more detailed and precise storyboard of how I want my advert to look like in terms of what will happen in th advert. 

 For my project I have started to make my qualitative audience research to get the audiences literal opinion on three advert which I showed them.

Today I have started to evaluate the wire armature I made for the hand explaining the problems that I had found making it.

Animation test piece analysis

Today I have began to analyse and explain how I have created my test piece animation, where I have made it, what I have used to help make it, and what i could have done to make it better and what I would change for next time when I make another animation.

Web pop-up layout designs

Today I have started to consider layout designs for my web pop-up advertisement I have done this by using the shape tools on microsoft powerpoint, Ihave done this so that I an get a general outline of what possible ways I can create my web pop-up.

Character design

today I have started to consider possible character design which I could use for my advertisement idea in terms of looks and stance.

 What I have done today is my first anmation test piece from seeing three of the images that i have taken from the other pictures making the animation, I have done this to simply become used to take a picture for each movement I make the articulated object take giving it "life force".

audience research

today I have created a questionnaire which I give to diverse audience groups, I have done this to get a better understanding of what is most appealing to the audience.

Types of clay-mation

 

Today I have researched three different types of clay-mation animation, I have done this so I can visualize which technique would be best to use for my advertisement. I have chosen to use the Freeform clay animation technique because what I am planning on doing is bringing a clay/plasticine hand to life giving it life and personality.  

 

stop motion advert analysis

today i have started to analyse adverts in the style of stop motion animation picking out and identifying the use of colour the set and techniques in how they appeal to certain audiences so I can decide how I would want to appeal to the audience with my advert idea.

 

Hand test model

on saturday i had started to make a rough model of the hand which will feature in my stop motion advert, i had encountered a few problems when trying to make the armature the wire i used seemed to be a bit too stiff when moving and may be a bit teedious to move when it is cover in plasticine/clay. I may just construct the hand with plasticine/clay. 

Today I have started to search for different adverts in the style of stop motion animation and to analyse in detail i have started to take screenshots analysing the adverts on the; colour used, setting and location etc. I have done this to get a genral outline of what other adverts are out in the media world.

Media work brief

For my media studies project i am going to create an advertising package for a new product or service, to include two TV advertisements, together with two of the following three options which are; a radio advertisement, a TV programme sponsorship sequence and a web pop-up.
the reason for why I have chosen to do this brief for my media studies project is due to my interest in stop motin animation, and I would like to express my interest by creating an advert entirely made in the style of stop motion animation.
